Introduction

Every day, users access to ZiiChat to share stories, connect with friends, learn travel information, experience trips through other people's real experiences. We, in the future, will support all geographic locations as well as all languages in the world.

We are fully aware of the mission that ZiiChat has set and aimed to become a community that connects the tourism enthusiast community and where people feel they have the freedom to communicate. We are serious about preventing abuse from our services. That’s why we’ve developed a set of Community Standards that outline what is and is not allowed on ZiiChat. Our standards apply worldwide to all content types. These are comprehensive standards by which content that is not considered hate speech may still be removed for violating our bullying policy.

The goal of this Community Standards is to encourage expression and create a safe environment. We build our policies based on information from the community and experts in fields, such as technology and public safety. Our policies also stem from the following principles:

Justice: Our community is global and diverse. Our policies are broad-based, we apply them consistently and fairly to a community spanning across regions, cultures and languages. As a result, sometimes our Community Standards may not be as clear as we would like, leading to results that are contrary to basic purposes. For that reason, in certain circumstances and when we are provided with additional context, we will make decisions based on the spirit of the policy, rather than literal words.

Safety: To let users feel safe to build a community, we are committed to removing contents that encourage damaging behavior in the real world, including (but not limited to) material, physical, mental, financial and other damages that may happen in reality.

Speech: Our mission is to absorb diverse perspectives from a variety of sources and try to focus on tourism. We will give priority to the display of the content, even if there are some objections, unless the removal of such content may prevent a particular hazard. Moreover, we will sometimes allow content that may violate our standards if we believe it is informative, meaningful or important to the community benefits. We only do this after considering the value of the community benefits of the content versus the risk of harm in the real world.

Everyone on ZiiChat plays an important role in contributing to a fair and safe environment. We ask that everyone is responsible for sharing and notifying us when seeing something that may violate our Community Standards. We will assist people with an easy way to report potentially infringing contents, including Pages, personal pages, personal contents and / or comments for our review. We also offer people the options to block or hide people and posts to control their own experiences on ZiiChat.

Depending on the severity of the violation and history of the violator on this platform, the consequences of violating our Community Standards will vary. For example, we may warn first-time violators, but if they continue to violate our policies, we may restrict the ability to post on ZiiChat, temporarily lock, or disable their personal pages. We may also notify competent authorities when we believe a violation has the potential to cause real harm or directly threaten the community's safety.

Our community standards play the role as a communication guide on ZiiChat. We will continue to develop these standards to become more and more complete. In that spirit, we ask that members of the ZiiChat community adhere to these principles. If you find content that violates this policy on ZiiChat, please report it to us.
